Mesa High Basketball Camp!

Jason was able to come and watch them on the last day of camp. The boys went into the locker room and changed into their shirts. They then started the music that the varsity boys come running out to in a game and the boys came running out with big smiles on their faces. They were glad Jay came to watch. Jason was so proud of them and really enjoyed watching his boys play a sport that he loves. It was a good experience for them and we look foward to next year!

Brady and Conner went to basketball camp for 4 weeks at Mesa High. I left my house every morning to get Conner to his camp at 8:00am. Brady's was from 9:00- 10:30. So for four weeks straight I drove for about 40 mins. and sat in the gym watching for 2 1/2 hours with Casey and Alexis. I enjoyed watching them it was just hard to come up with things to entertain Casey and Lexi. I love my boys and I would do it again for them. Also I was so into watching that I kept forgetting to take pics. and video tape them. Brady had a lot of fun. He learned alot of skills and still practices them. He is very good at ball handling. He loves to play and can't wait for next years camp.

Conner did so well this year. This was his first basketball camp. He didn't want it to end. He loved learning how to play. At the end of practice the coach would have contest with the boys and many times Conner would be in there till the end, even winning a few of them.

Here is Conner playing a game at the end of the camp. He is calling for the ball, gets the ball, he shoots, he scores! Way to go!

Brady also played a game at the end of the camp. He was fouled with no time left in the first half. He lined up to shoot his free throws, he missed the first but the second went in. He put his team up by 1 at half time. Good Job!
