We Are Proud Of You- Ya We Are Proud Of You!

Football is over and my brother is graduating this year. That means no more highschool football games. I have been going to watch both Josh and JD play since popwarner. That equals 6 years (I think) of going and cheering them on. I have traveled near and so far to watch them, but it has all been worth it. Of all the games I only missed two of them. They were a Yuma game and a Tucson game. The only reason I missed them is because I had babies a week before those games. Both times I was back at the field when my babies were two weeks old. For the last four years every Friday has been planned out. We have been at the games. Now with no more- I have no idea what to do on my Fridays during football season. I know everthing must come to an end. But this is one thing I wish that it didn't have to. My boys are starting to play football. Which is good cause now I can get my football fix through them. My kids loved going and cheering Uncle JD on. They wore there shirts proudly and still want to wear them on Fridays.
My mom, sister Jenny and I were the loudest. We loved to stand and cheer the team on. I would come home with almost no voice every friday, but I loved it. JD won't admit it but I know he liked it too.
I know they will continue to do the pre-game chant, but I will miss seeing JD (#15) doing it. We still can not get him to do it for us at home. I loved to watch JD tackle and hit hard. He was good at it. Boy did we cheer loud when ever his name was annouced. Those were fun and exciting moments.

JD was so good out there. He never gave up. If he made a mistake it just made him mad and he would hit even harder. We were so happy to sit in the stands and wear his name and number on our Mesa shirts. I am so proud of him and glad to be his sister. Thanks JD for all the memories that I will NEVER forget.

You had to make me cry didn't you... I love those pictures. I try not to think about never seeing that Mesa High Jarvis #15 jersey anymore. Even Steven told me the other day that he had just realized that we won't be watching anymore Mesa High football games. It made him a little sad. Loosing our voices from time to time was worth it. Maybe we wouldn't of if "Jarvis #15" wasn't said so much. I am going to miss those Friday nights more than you'll ever know.

I wish we went to a game just to watch the whole Jarvis Family cheering. I know you guys go crazy! I love it..sometimes we have to be crazy to keep ourselves from actually becoming crazy(does that make sense?)Especially us moms, right?

Kristy!! I'm so glad that you made that blog.. I know how much it meant to JD and everyone else, including me. It definately got me all choked up. Although I didn't start going to the games until this year, with you guys it felt like I had been going all along. I loved being there and being loud and everytime I would see and hear #15 i got a big smile on my face. Going to the games has made my love for football and your family grow so much, and Im definately going to miss them. BUT.. I am still very glad for the memories of watching my boy do his thing, and being a cheerleader with his fam. I love you guys!
